# Merchant payments

> Read and update payment methods with a Bearer API key. Secrets are never returned.

Scopes: `payment:read` · `payment:write` · ceiling `managePayments`

GET masks gateway secrets as `[redacted]`. You may **write** a new secret to configure a gateway; it will not be echoed back.

Platform commission percentages and the crypto payout notification email cannot be changed via this API (`403`).
