# Social proof

> Recent sale popups and live product stats on your storefront, in every theme, with honest counting.

Join Markt can show shoppers real activity in your store: popups with recent sales, and live numbers on product pages. It is part of the platform, so it works in every theme and every runtime (React, Liquid, Vite) without any theme code.

## Store-wide settings

Open **Configure** in the dashboard and find **Social proof**.

| Setting | What it does |
| - | - |
| **Recent sale popups** | A small popup with real recent orders on every page. |
| **On product pages, show** | **Sales of that product**: only orders for the product the shopper is looking at. **Sales from all products**: recent orders from the whole store, each linking to its product. |
| **Live stats on every product** | Viewing now, views and sold on all product pages. |

## Per-product settings

Each product has its own **Live Stats** card in the product form. Use it to turn viewers, views, sales and sale popups on or off for that product. **Live stats on every product** in Configure turns them on for all products at once.

## How numbers are counted

> Only real numbers are shown. A visitor counts once per product per day. Your own team, builder previews and bots are never counted.

* **Viewing now** is the number of shoppers with the product page open right now.
* **Views** counts unique visitors per product per day.
* **Sold** and the popups come from real paid orders.

Popups and stats never appear in the builder preview or on Join Markt's theme demo stores.

## No republish needed

These settings are read live by the storefront. Changes show on your store within a minute, without publishing the theme again.
