Dodo Payments

Dodo Payments is a hosted checkout. It handles tax for you.

What you need

Create an API key

In the Dodo Payments dashboard, create an API key.

Add the webhook

Add a webhook for payment.succeeded with this URL:

https://dash.joinmarkt.com/api/dodo/webhook

Dodo signs it with Standard Webhooks headers. Copy the signing secret.

Connect in Join Markt

Go to Payment methods → Dodo Payments. Paste the API key and the webhook secret.

Turn it on

Enable Active at checkout, then save.

You don’t create products in Dodo. Join Markt makes one pay-what-you-want product on the first checkout and reuses it.

Sandbox	use test keys and test payments
Inline checkout mode	opens Dodo checkout on your page, not a new page
Prices include tax	your price already has tax in it

The order is marked paid only when the webhook arrives. Never deliver before that.
