Builder changes are a draft. Click Publish to put them live. See Publish.
A theme update is not applied by itself. Open Update theme in the builder, apply it, then publish. Files you changed keep your version unless you pick Use update. See Theme updates.
No. When the platform under src/platform/ changes, published stores are rebuilt automatically from their published files. See Platform updates.
They never show in the builder preview. Check them on your live store, and check Configure → Social proof and the product’s Live Stats card. These settings do not need a republish. See Social proof.
The editor marks the line. Common causes:
  • A trailing comma after the last item in an object or list.
  • Single quotes instead of double quotes.
  • A missing comma between two items.
Also check that every id in order exists in sections, and every id in block_order exists in blocks. If you cannot find the problem, undo your last change (Ctrl/Cmd + Z).
The template uses a type that has no folder in src/sections/, or a block type the section schema does not declare. Create the section, fix the type, or remove that entry. See Common checks.
src/platform/ belongs to the platform. It is read-only in the builder and replaced on every build, so edits there never reach your store. Put your code in your own section, src/theme.tsx, src/theme.css or src/theme.ts, and import platform helpers from @/platform.
The preview names the section and the message. Other sections keep rendering. Open the section’s file in Code, fix it, and the preview rebuilds. In Liquid, check for unclosed tags such as a missing endif or endfor.
The section may be limited to other templates (templates in its schema), already at its limit on this page, or have no presets. Main sections, such as the product page body, have no presets on purpose.
